How many blogs have you read so far that claim sourcers and recruiters will soon be replaced by robots? There’s a lot of them out there! It seems a week can’t go by without one!
Should we really worry about being replaced? Perhaps. Some experts point out that most of our jobs will be fully automated soon enough and recruiters are no exception. But that doesn’t mean we can’t do everything we can to stay relevant in the meantime.
How can we do that? In her presentation at Sourcing Summit, Karen Azulai suggested we should embrace technology and become augmented sourcers. I thought it’s a great way to approach the changes in our industry. I see three main ways we can so it:
Learn from other disciplines
Constantly try new processes
Make friends with HR tech
